Have you ever paid rent a day late before to this owner?
If not then it’s an impulsive decision based on his experience with other homeless people.
But not everyone is the same. I would’ve agreed with the manager and let you pay on the second day.
he is a know figure to all of the tenants.
I just think it is awful. I lost so many things, like irreplaceable books, my envelopes, my stamps, my scissors. I have never been late. The landlord is just mean. Glad to hear from you finally after all this
