Those Who Say "No"
Why some say no
You see this a lot. Okay, not a lot: But it does happen.
Someone very close to the heart of it suddenly begins to see things differently. This means that there is a split, and now this person no longer agrees with former “comrades.” This is happening close to the action. The best dissidents come from very close to the heart of it. A person might be in touch with life at the highest levels but then this person begins abruptly to see differently. He (she) does not agree with his (her) associates anymore; and he goes her own way. So does she!
It happened with Arthur Koestler. There was Darkness at Noon, his novel. A novel with a function: to alert us to Soviet-style “communism” dangers. At around the same time Koestler made another contribution. He was part of a collaboration that produced a book, seemingly about Kronstadt. Huh? Well, I was stumped, too, so I checked, Wikipedia. “Kronstadt” is part of the term “Kronstadt Moment,” the idea that there is a “moment in which some communists or fellow travelers decide not just to leave the Communist Party but to oppose it.” (First LINK mine; second done by computer.)
Another similar person. I found Pascal Najadi, on-line. His Persian father helped found the WEF but having done so he walked away from it. Misgivings. Quit that whole scene, having been at first he was a co-founder with Schwab, who is still at it. Still a true believer in a secret war against humanity or something (I don’t know; this stiff is new to me, too) he is in charge over at the WEF. Maybe next, he will get ousted by Darth Vadar. Maybe this Schwab is pure evil, because -hey -I know he is German—or very close. (Anyhow, the dad here was a businessman and same for Najadi—but that is enough “info” for now, eh, kiddies? Mybe you cannot handle it.) So, Najadi’s dad quit after having co-founded it with a man who turns out to be evil. (As I say, I haven’t seen the evidence and who am I to accuse anyhow?) Well—it appears that Najadi the younger is now speaking out and the guy is totally beside himself about this. Najadi agrees with the opinions of many others on the radical end of the issues of our time. This radical spectrum end feels that there are several fraudulent entities. WEF seems to be a fraud that needs to be exposed — something like that. What the hell ARE these persons doing in terms of their organizations. They are running the WHO, or the “wef” as he calls it sounding it out phonetically. Najani is repeating what strong critics are saying: they are the strong sort of critics in discussions. Najadi the younger (dad no longer with us) seems to agree with this type of really strong assessment. Najani has made a statement on the web against the vaccines as well as these organizations headquartered in Geneva incl. and the WEF. But we were talking about what kind of phenomenon these kinds of persons are examples of. What do they -these people -have in common? They all say “No.”
What they all have in common is that here is a “moment” when they suddenly see things differently than others around them. But why do these people change their minds where others do not?
This is a beautiful, mysterious thing. I said above I didn’t want to force too many facts on you. If you want a “fact,” the fact is Pascal Najadi and Arthur Koestler had to change their beliefs. Facts do not need to be dead things, petrified and frozen in time. Rather, it is that even after a thing gets to be taken as a fact it continues to have aspects worth exploring. So, “facts” do not just sit there being true.
This is because “time keeps on moving,” just as the song has it…
I’ve got the whole Internet at my disposal. It does not cost me anything. It is kind of a good deal isn’t it?
But why don’t we recognize these things? When we do not value good as good, then we will lose it to any creep who comes along. Even the businessmen knew that the best way to make money using the Internet was to leave it free, similar to television or radio. “Let the advertisers pay,” they said. For a while that worked.
That is fine, but what we do not have in the United States, our version of capitalism, is a culture that values things that help all. We need to value a thing that is helpful to all.
The book that Koestler contributed to (there are warnings about reproducing the cover) is The God that Failed (original capitalisation!). Communism also claimed to represent some kind of basic goodness or values. But it did not live up to it.
We may not have faith in that type of salvation anymore — but, we need faith in something. There has to be some kind of goodness. People are out of touch with those kind of values. What do we believe in: companies, and whether there a profit for some kind of business activity. Having this as your belief is really inadequate. It is just not enough. To only believe the company and the profit is wrong; it is false and pernicious. The world does not work like that. You have it all wrong. The families of the Koestlers and Najadis of the world have no shortage of ties to business. They have business connections. But that doesn’t matter. They never fell into having no values. This is at the heart of the matter of why they did not follow the others of their ilk.
Along with the American Indians we must be able to see that life is good. Let’s see if we can find a picture now, since I cannot use the book cover of that other book.

Sometimes it takes getting up close to a subject, person or issue to be able to see the cracks and wrinkles we couldn’t see from a distance. At other times the defects appear as we become more familiar with the basic premises of an argument or theory.
In any case the factor of time plays an essential role in helping us to understand the underlying problem that we assumed was a simple solution.
