This Morning's Effort (updated 5PM)
here is your Literature fix.
People are nice; and they interact with one another. Sometimes they talk. As I am Autistic I don't talk much to people and I wonder about what they are doing when they are having the conversations. So I try to catch snippets of the conversos which are to me so mysterious. But, I do not learn much, and it just still seems mysterious. Conversos really are, it’s all Greek to me so I don't know if there is something wrong with me or what. But I do not understand conversation. It seems as if I have spent my life trying to be normal but it just doesn't work.
Then acually, what is the point of being alive? What are we supposed to be doing? It would be better if you were trying to attain "enlightenment." So say the Buddhists. Then you would do something with your life. And another point here is that sitting around drinking IPAs will not do it. And, neither will "getting a job," the primary object of which is obviously to afford the IPAs (and other things like a roof. Most have one over they head. Eliminate that "y" after "the" — all your problems then end.)
So what should we do? You could sit and meditate. A Buddhist says to. But, there is another thing called "Ati," or Dzog Chen where you just stay in your natural state or "real you condi" as spiritual master Namkai Norbu Rinpoche has put it.
But consider history: Originally people were taken up by the bare task of survival, so that is what they had discussions about. Then with the advent of modern ways, people got interested in other things. However although some of them are in the modern situation they simply extend the task of survival, but this time concentrating on money as if they need it to live or something. They sometimes end up being millionaires. But does that help them survive? What’s the point? When they make their first million they want a second million, on up until a thousand million, which means they get the coveted title "billionaire." Boy. Survival is tough. Does this help them at the task of bare survival? The probably do think so! But then after they made a billion, they get bored. That comes from only thinking about your bare survival, but taken to an absurd, illogical degree or level. Do you get the funny idea that Gates (who wants to vaccinate the world) or Bezos (who has an inflatable wife) are not really happy? Think about that.
But there are types; everyone is not the same type. Here then is another type. These type individuals of our society just sit around trying to figure out why the IPAs they drink no longer taste as good as they used to. But maybe someone drinks Guinness so let’s follow that as the new behavior pattern. Some may even join the gang. The Stones or the Army or Hamas. It's all pretty much the same thing — in our modern era, I mean.
--------------------------okay---------------
Okay so that is not good enough. I can hear you asking for more. Please come back in two hours. I need time to either: nap, meditate, or g-d forbid take an IPA. Okay—so we know that people are nice, and they interact a lot, except not me.
This is just obvious; if you look around, all more comfortable sorts of persons are being nice. But, I mean, I agree that this is good. I am on board with that.
However, just “being nice” does not solve problems, so what else? You should meditate as I said, and find the meaning of life, right? Other than being nice, you also need to do something meaningful. I think this is a key topic to consider as we head into the final section of the piece. How we find something meaningful to do is of key importance. Once you have a successful economic system then you need to value meaning, not money.
A first step is to restrain and regulate the capitalistic economic system — not get rid of it, that isn’t necessary! But sort of cap it or put in the regulations and modifications. This is a frequent theme in my writing, and I hope I return to it. Until you people understand.
Because, if we do not do that, we are doomed. Unregulated, free-for-all, carnival-style capitalism can only be successfully applied to a certain era; it cannot go on forever.
Barnum and Bailey’s era is over

I was reminiscing earlier about some conversations from long ago that I heard/overheard but wasn't part of, and what I learned from them. It made me wonder if anybody else remembers random conversations from 10, 15, 20 years ago. It's kinda weird, right? Lol, Britney Spears said there are two kinds of people, those who entertain and those who observe. I'm more the observer type.
