Things Are Falling Apart
Democracy in Shambles. Is there any hope?

the People
I had thought things were done differently. It was the basis of our success as a country that there was "rule by...the People," one of the founding ideals. That is the idea I feel loyalty towards; I am not sure if it is intact because these days it is not rule by The People but rather it is rich men north of Richmond and elites who rule. But that wasn’t the original idea. Of the country. The idea was: “the People” rule.
I do not know exactly was meant by “The People” (there may have been different interpretations, since after all it functioned as a slogan to inspire men to make a revolution, using weapons), but there has as a result of this decline, been a decline in “rule by and for The People.” Our democracy is really now in shambles. A decline in democratic values is a decline in rule by “the People.” The two, "rule by the People" and by "democracy" mean much the same thing so these are different ways of saying something similar. We basically get the idea. On the other hand I do not like it when money rules. That doesn’t seem very good, and it is far from what was intended by original leaders of this nation. Let’s face it, rule by money is not mentioned anywhere! Rule by money is not rule by “the People.” Pure invention. Since it is not the result of principled persons like John Adams or whomever, it is a cheap, sleazy slide downward. (However, that is controversial. There are persons who want to replace “people” with “money”). I do not think that rule by money will be successful. We need to understand the world and its people better than that. Things will start breaking down fast; and then the whole world (the world, not only this country but every country) will be destroyed. But, say the objectors, the USA is da numero uno! The U. S. is duh pre-eminent country right now.
If that is because of democracy, then let us protect it. Let us go back to "rule by The People." If that can be done. People!!!
Well if you thought this was taking a negative turn, look out. Because…. when one looks closer it gets worse! (This is the opposite to the process of writing an article by adding more parts to the original handwritten fragment this article is based on: that should make it get better, not worse, eh?) Faced with clear evidence about mRNA Covid vaccines do not work, or far less than anticipated, (and they are actually working far worse than anticipated) there is no response. Where is the outcry from the general public? Nothing. What is going on? Why are they taking the medicine? This is most unexpected. Aside from pandemics and their uses for the regulators, we might try another subject: journalism. So, we shall talk about journalism and how that democratic fragment is doing? How is it doing — at supporting democracy?
Well, now. A small elite has taken over the production of “news.” But it was already not a very good industry for some time. Journalism had already been in decline for ten years of more. But “not a good industry” is all in the past now because the problems are proliferating in ways never seen hitherto. When did people stop understanding how to reason? A person like Bari Weiss had to form her own publication. Certainly “the average fellow” is not going to go there. We’ll just accept whatever the newspaper for our social class is. And all of us are more average than ever. That’s not democracy, is it? More like homogeneity—everyone’s one-track mind of money. There are some really sick people who want to sell a vaccine shot to ya (don’t fall for it) but the public is already so uneducated -except for Substack readers -that they can think of little to raise a fuss over. Safer just to pretend that nothing unusual is going on. They may believe this sort of newspaper (e.g. The NYT) is normal. Because it was never a good industry, as there were always problems. Democracy was always weak. But we felt we were doing our best. Not admitting to the problems make it worse, of course.
There must have been a slow decline, it must have been ongoing already but barely noticed. There we were, for a long while waiting for the few “radical” voices that used to be heard to break through once more. They were outside the mainstream. Yet, the times must be much worse because where are these voices? They are poorly organized and not heard at all on the issue of vaccine dangers. The government has been trying to push everyone to do tis—get those shots. These are often quite harmful vaccine shots. What is left? Are there any great radical voices discussing it? Do we really need to start all over? Should we create society all over? Where is the democracy? Where is the discussion? The evidence is that these vaccines are not safe and the persons saying they are nutcases.
Democracy does not mean you check your intelligence at the door.
At some point the killing begins. We have as a society not degenerated that far yet. You should enjoy these last days; I know I do. They are going to begin killing the truth-tellers, they just aren’t ready yet. Some people on Substack believe that recent world events mark the beginning of more extensive efforts to reduce the world population to satisfy the great genius ideas is rich people—by direct killing. I can get there, but not directly. If you follow out certain lines of thought it sounds plausible that there are at some moves being made in that direction. There always were but now they have control over hospitals and medical care. Hospitals are now in some cases more like killing centers; there may be a certain group of persons, secure in their fortunes, who desire not want to exist in a world with certain other people. These are people in their own countries. It sounds to me like if one reasons it out, one can arrive at such a plan. This will slowly become less crazy and more of a pressing reality. They drive the street and see the world from the back seat of a limousine.

We usually have no idea how things will turn out. Nobody predicted the whole COVID mess, it just happened.
It is technology. Technology always does unexpected things. Is there a downside to technology? I think there is, because technology eventually intersects with a battle against nature, a battle that favors death. Technology favors humans; it is created and maintained by us, the human beings. And it can come to favor death, just as much as nature celebrates life. While nature celebrates life, there are very few humans who do.

There were Christian right groups who opposed the covid vaccine from the beginning. The Gateway Pundit kept track of the young athletes, doctors and nurses who suddenly dropped dead of myocarditis and shared their stories. There were a few lesser known groups like the burning platform and conservative treehouse who opposed mandatory vaccination, and there was a little bit of opposition from Zerohedge if I remember. But more well known independent journalists like Chris Hedges and Caitlin Johnstone went along with it. They were a huge disappointment.
