I find the human race irritating
Substack also contains horrors
A Substack writer tells us something and it seems to me that it is what he or she is in favor of.
I write about intentional living, quiet joy
So they are in favor of intentional living. I came out of reading that thinking, “this person was in favor of intentional living.” That is just in my reading. The person actually said “I write about [it].” I see this intentional living idea, and at all the time; I quickly leave the person’s stupid newsletter. Is it even still called that?
Why would people like this topic: intentional living? Well, I think I they must be threatened or something. They see some problem, you know.
They must feel threatened. They feel like control is being denied to them or that life could be reduced to mere of drifting. Somebody must be taking somebody’s freedom to live. And so they go for the remedy. And it is “intentional living.” That’s it; they just want to tell us. They want to tell us that the remedy to allowing others to steal one’s freedom is this blather about “intentional” living. Huh? They are really, really afraid they will lose something. And they will “intentionally” get it back.
I find the human race extremely irritating. These persons who get into the “intentional living” trope are the igniting of a small spark in a dark inside of a small tin can.
It just strikes me as so feeble and small. “I’m in control.”
Like hell you are, fool
This idiot moron then says: “Join me for gentle, thoughtful essays”
spare me.

The only “intentional living” that makes sense to me is living with a purpose instead of wandering through life, letting it happen to you.
