Here is the question being asked on "Spectrum9 News," the channel I watch at the motel: "how could the Israel-Iran ceasefire have broken down so quickly?" The man called Donald Trump was mad, very mad about this and he blamed both countries. But I found the next "Spectrum9 News" story inspiring. I was interested by this story of an American who have escaped the region. His group traveled overland at first. They had to hide in a bomb shelter, they crossed several mid-Eastern nations, and ultimately arrived in Florida. They did not give one rat's ass about who was to blame or about the politics. But they formed a group, they all looked out for one another, and finally arrived safely. This makes sense to me; I am glad the Americans are home.
As for the president. Obviously USA turkey brain in chief thinks a bombing mission is going to solve the problem, all problems, and everyone's problems. And that did not happen. In fact, in the next half-hour I am going to find out more. This is all from "Spectrum9 News," my favorite channel in the Tampa Bay area. They took care of people during the hurricane(s). I am watching in real time as I write, and now the story is that there is a 125-yr. old building that survived the hurricane. They finished up a major renovation project just before it came. When it came, they did get water in the building so now they need more money to renovate it but I guess the story is that the building survived. Brian wants to preserve this building for history.
Israel doesn't care about any cease-fire. All they are doing is attacking people all the time. Everyone except themselves, and sometimes themselves. Trump thought you can use violence and so he wanted bombs. Then he wants everything settle down. After you bomb and "obliterate" your enemy. This is an old story. Isn't it? Of course Trump does not read books so what would he know? Maybe he never studied history but it is an old story that once the antagonists in a war start fighting they just keep fighting doggedly and do not get pacified by having bombs dropped on them. Funny about that.
We are cooling down a little. That is what the weatherman says but not until the day after tomorrow, so why is he talking about two days from now? For the time being it is very hot. Hot today and hot tomorrow. Face it, it is hot. It's not cooling down if tomorrow is expected to be just as hot and have a high of 92 (please insert a little tiny "o" at the top right of the "two," and thanks for that. I like "Spectrum9 News," but there is a horrific ad. In the ad some guy says he had a heart attack. So what's the point? To sympathize. Fine. But the message of the ad is this was a heart attack but not lung cancer and yet smoking caused it! Huh? It wasn't cancer it was heart but it was still from smoking even though it wasn't lung cancer. Okay, so why should I believe the heart attack came from his smoking habit? It isn't like they provided one shred of evidence. And yet... they say it was smoking. The heart attack was from smoking and they know this. And lung cancer is from smoking. But here, the heart attack was from smoking, too. I agree: smoking is an issue. But I don't know if scaring the beejeezus out of people is the way to solve the problem. Maybe their next idea is to drop bombs on you if you smoke. That should stop the habit. And smoking in a bunker? Won't save you. We have the military and your smoking shack shall be "obliterated" just like Iran's enrichment facility. No, there's something wrong here. And that's the news from "Spectrum9."
The t.v. set now provides this joke in a commercial ad. Somebody says: "My son is 6'5". He's gettng a women's basketball scholarship." Who wins? Women? Nope. Men? Nope. TRANS activists win. This issue really pisses me off. But thanks to that comedian. And thanks for giving me a good joke.
Then there is again an ad. It is going to reveal "little known facts" -- and as soon as I heard those three little words I knew there was a problem, probably a rat-shaped one. Hillsorough Country is also doing stuff, whatever.
I am waiting for the latest on the mid-East and instead I have sat through three weather reports. Ah, the latest. It came: "President T was angry..." He touted a deal just yesterday and Wow is he upset. Prof. Steven Roach. It was Trump who decided to withdraw from a deal worked out in 2014. The Iranians were complying. It was "for the most part" a success. So genius Trump cancelled the deal. So, Iran went back to being war-like. Now what? Trump bombs the uranium enrichment facilities and thinks that will solve all the problems. Now, with Iran on the warpath the "conflict [as the t.v. tells us] continues."
Well, that's all on the mid-East. I was just falling in line behind Trump's actions and then the t.v. ruins it all by telling me the truth. All from "Spectrum9 New," Tampa Bay.
p.s. I'm leaving Florida soon, but I will remember "Spectrum9." (I don't know if they are the same company as the cable provider "Spectrum," but Spectrum cable service tends to go out all the time, so I don't support the cable provider, necessarily. I depended on their Internet service for my computer and I could never get on-line. I don’t know if it was my computer or Spectrum cable service, but I blame Spectrum.)
So, in conclusion, I don't think the t.v. can dependably supply listeners with "little-known facts." It just makes no sense. Are these facts still "little-known" now that the television has revealed it. It just don't make sense.
