A question came into my mind, something about whether we can trust the various statement of findings by people who claim to do science.
Do they have scientific credentials?
What sorts of credentials would indicate that a person does science well?
Is it enough that they graduated from a university program? Not anymore, it isn’t, because it has been asserted, by critics, that universities have become corrupt. I think this happened from the late eighties to the present. If you give them forty years to develop their corruption and decline, forty years to damage the quality of their science, they will do it.
Especially if they are highly motivated to develop a high level of poor science. And why would they be motivated to develop a negative trend in the quality of thwat they do? It is because their minds are nefarious. And when did men’s minds become nefarious?
We do not know, but it must have been a long time ago, because existing historical research indicates extreme brutality going back to the beginnings of human civilization. What we call “civilized” is usually extremely violent.
But with technological progress came a lot of excitement about progress. Lovejoy has published a Harvard lecture (from a long time ago, so more integrity) that dates the belief in progress to a certain event in 1750. So, after about that time, science research was simply too exciting to cause most of it to be fake. Or at least most of the better-known scientists were actually discovering basic principles that changed lives.
With that kind of hope, what motive would there be for persons to participate in a degenerated form of science. They were almost doing the first science. So, it was very good in many cases, although there were also ideas like “ether” and “flogiston” that were erronious.
It is only in our time that science has spiraled into decline.

Is that a link? At all? If it does not come out I will attempt to fix it in ‘Comments.’ I like ‘Comments.’ Don’t you?
I thought I remembed a song against science. I cannot totally reall it but here is something to substitue (very scientific): The five best songs inspired by science
Is that going to come out as a link????
