(I have a “new” -ish computer but it is a chromebook and not very good at all)
This Zebra pen writes well. Most other pens skip; I cannot figure this problem out. If most of a certain kind consumer product stink,s doesn’t “the market” spring into operation here? Only the Zebra brand works (it has since quickly ran out of ink but it worked so well when it worked!). Almost every other ball pen I have tried skips!
Since we live in a society obviously characterized by “markets” (all experts are on one side on the topic and have been since before was even born, there must be a “Consumer Demand’ for pens that skip. It could be that our economics theories are wrong. But, I vote for “Consumer Demand.”
The pens that write well are in the minority. The ‘Consumer Demand’ is apparently for pens that skip. It sure is great that we live in a ‘Consumer Demand’ society.
Hey - after the consumer got done clamoring for the skippy pens, they demanded food additives. I cannot for the life o’ me comprehend why there is not a company such as, “Skippy’s” pens. It would be so funny. (Dear Donald, that joke is for sale. For you, a special deal, one of the best: $50,000 and it’s yours.)
There are several well-known brands out there. I cannot remember all of them. Sanford and Papermate seem to be there in my mind. And we all know the BIC pens.
All of these companies: run by domineering men who skip.

Your comment about all experts on a topic are always one side may be aimed at the pro vaccine crowd but I view at a larger scale.
The MAGA and “woke” crowds are perfect examples of it. Granted they’re polar opposites but what their screeds show is that in this one instance they’re exactly the same.
