Enveloped
(poem)
There are a lot of things
to read on the web. There are the
great articles by Nathan G. Schweb
The weight of it crushes me. This
is the weight of being (and feeling)
confused. I have a good life and I
want that to expand
And get bigger. I
want to slide
with YOU into a
golden blanket. I want
to. Because I trust you.
I know I am wrong
But I trust you.

A very well written piece. It’s simple in its confession of fear in the volumes of information available to us as well as the fear of not knowing, a form of nonexistence.
The image of two wrapped in a golden blanket alleviates this innate fright by eliminating loneliness as ensuring safety.
