Right-wingers are trying to squeeze out certain persons. The most recent message I got from one of them is: Shut up retard. That is the entire text of the “message.” I attempted to engage some of them in converso, and I reported this. It is on a recent post. I suspect that there simply is no sincere attempt to communicate in the first place. Possibly all of this is performative.
The on-line world isn’t reflective of real life. It may be quite “performative.”
So is advertising actually. We have discussed all of this here, and recently. So the idea they all have is power: I do not have to say anything. I have the right to get angry. For sure, then: that is performative anger.
One can see the appeal of Freudian analysis. The idea was that of anger managment. And analysis. The Freudians lot like gentleman, and scholars.
The inhabitants of an enlightened society should be able to manage the anger, neurosis. Thus, Freudianism, like Marxism, hinges upon a basic conceit.
If capitalism remains unmanaged, it is a vicious animal that got released from its cage. This is why I favor the regulation of it. But who will regulate it?
Right-wingers are not there to regulate -or practice -capitalism. There are there to create a monolithic social group, opposed to all outside influences. This works only in the case of a small nation, isolated from its neighbors. There do exist small ethnicities like this in, several areas. There are a few groups like that.
It will never work in this country — that is absurd.
So these persons are individualists attempting to impose their view on capitalism, and block true understanding of the capitalistic human society. This create the false presence of a monolithic group. This is why it is only a thing that exists on-line, and thus this is not a real world phenomenon.
It is a false bubble on-line.
Thus I find it a bit sad—and I shall be obliged to ignore them.
Right-wingers — it is a sad phenomenon. (And Trump enjoys using the word “sad.”) So I am applying that also to these conservatives who are fighting for the right to impose one system upon everyone, something not very American.
Rightists are on the “outside” of capitalism, trying to label it as “private” and “individual.” We can understand this once we have analysed capitalism and understand the liberal nature of it. Capitalism is liberal and conservatives do not like that. Therefore, saddled with an inherently a liberal system they could only make a false description of it. They now choose to describe it as “individualistic.” But capitalism is not only individualistic. Capitalism is not merely individualistic. It has interesting social characteristics. It’s more interested characterists are social. We could keep capitalism, and it could continue to work, if we balanced it, between the social and individual parts.
So, instead, they just told a false story about it. Any idea of “social aspects” to capitalism had to be supressed. This is what those persons wanted to do and they did it — quite effectively. It is a shame that the profession of “Economics” (ECONO) succumbed — no one challenged it. (What you do get are the two competing schools, that of “socialism” and the school of a lie, the lie of a “private” capitalism.)
