Goodbye Elites

Since, they mysteriously fail to mention natural immunity, their star has faded. . .

This is a Substacker who is a person ("scientist") with 26,000 subscribers. Here are his words:

I remember this. Nobody ever wanted to talk about natural immunity. They made me feel stupid for even mentioning the term. It is apparently a real thing. They did not want to look at facts. This lack of interest in discussion of natural immunity or herd immunity is something that I noticed. This is not a question of intelligence. Here the point was immunity, but they discussed what brand of immunity it was. Why was vaccine immunity seemingly more important than natural immunity… These may have ben intelligent persons but there was an unintelligent preference for one sort of immunity over the other. But these are intelligent people. Aren’t they? Something has gone wrong. The intelligent persons were not discussing natural immunity, only vaccine immunity. Only one kind of immunity was given a public forum. Except that there are persons like myself, who actually read. Persons like me actually read things about it. Is it possible that I, too am intelligent? This is a new period of mankind, when facts are ignored and the fault lies with the elites. Somebody must be responsible; it didn’t happen all by itself. This is a totally, 100% ideological indoctrination. We are a "propaganda society" now so we do not have the freedom that allows correct speech to win over incorrect. How can correct speech win when it is disallowed? It must be that there is a standard view imposed. The propaganda is upheld by "elites," and this behavior corresponds to no gain for normal people. As such, it emerges again in my mind—this idea that there must be two groups: the elites and the rest of us. That is why I say “Goodbye, Elites.”

The "elite" are of course still a diverse group. But within them there sinister, over-educated scientists not interested in truth. Why is it more natural to call them “scientists”? They are in control of the word. "Science" is the word they use to bludgeon us over the head. All we need to do is unmask the use of one word.

The elites are interested in forcing you to agree with them. Many persons -other than only myself -have been pointing this out as an offense against basic legality in the entity called USA, often shortened to just "America." The principles are called usually "free speech."

Free speech is important. For Americans, free speech is when persons who have reasonable things to say are able to speak them without being de-platformed. Repression is when definitive control has been achieved over this kind of speech. As a result persons are de-platformed, or repressed, etc.

We as a society are no longer able to make the crucial distinction between what is reasonable and what is not.

The war in Ukraine is considered reasonable, the vaccines are reasonable, but allowing critics to speak without being de-platformed or ridiculed is not.

And thus, we are no longer able to trust anyone, and this certainly applies to elites.

But I still, after calling this one “Goodbye Elites” keep thinking of a Phillip Roth book and I feel it must be related, somehow?
