Censorship
Is it happening here in this country?
Emma-Jo Morris, the reporter who broke the stories for the New York Post about Joe Biden's involvement in his son Hunter's business dealings in Ukraine and China, only to be falsely smeared by the CIA and the media of promoting “Russian disinformation” and then watch her reporting be censored …
Of course, that’s impossible. I mean, maybe the big bad evil “Right” could do it. But the Democratic liberals? I mean, they are liberal! That means…
So you thought but those days are over. The above “pull quote,” b.t.w., is from Glen Greenwald, who publishes good things; but somehow he just gives me the creeps. He says he is getting one million views sometimes, now, on Rumble, and that is as it should be because: journalsim (sic). He appears on video in a creepy monochromatic black ensemble: a suit, white shirt and black necktie. He wants to have the biggest reach possible, he says. As that is the correct way for journalism. I don’t think so at all.
Why not as many journalists as possible? That would work, too and it would be decentralized. (If you do not agree with me, you can always switch newsletters.)
On the plus side, this man does nothing but point out important stuff. (Also Substack’s Naked Emperor does that well.)
However, at a certain point on his local.com transcription this guy, who wants as many readers as possible, or says journalism should be “broad” not narrow cuts my access off, in effect censoring me which I thought he was against. He is now saying the rest is for “supporters only.” These sorts of person do not mind saying “you can participate in free speech only—” but, only if you support me.” That is kind of the opposite of free speech. Isn’t it
So. My verdict on Greenwald: he is right is certain ways (e.g. all his opinions seem fine in the abstract) but weird and creepy (a rather bigoted way of labelling him, as I am sure I am just as weird as he is) To wrap it up in summary — I think he is kind of “performative,” enacting some sort of idea “unencumbered” critic role for his own self-glorification. He is a real independent, though, so I will give him that much.
My original intent here (in this piece) was to say something about how my mind has a default setting that assumes US/America does not censor. Especially if the Democrats are in charge. This is according to everything I ever learned. In my “old” head, that is impossible. My whole personality was formed in the liberal cultural environment, and by liberal cultural forces, as they existed back when I existed as a youth. I was both raised in the early to mid-sixties and then launched into an abnormal Autistic adulthood status in the radicalism of the late sixties (which I fully participated in, in terms of hair length, marijuana smoking, music, and advanced intellectual thought) through the seventies (when I actually worked full-time for a while experiencing the dignity of labor) until the eighties when a disruption of service occurred in my brain and I stopped speaking to people. Well, got better, so that’s all water under the bridge I suppose and here we are in a time when the so-called Democratic Liberals are revealed as “Some Weird Thing.”
-takes a lot of getting used to, let me tell ya.
This is as close as I could remember something like “some weird thing” I was close…
the lyrics are pretty good, too. But don’t know they are precisely right for my article here on Substack (who actually tolerate me) so I won’t force it on you straights.
What are those “Liberals” trying to do to us? Are these new times???
Well, they haven’t destroyed me yet so I am still here with ya.
~ and, hopefully, next time I will tell you about Charles Willeford, this great new writer (to me, he wrote in the fifties through eighties) that I discovered)

"He is a real independent, though, so I will give him that much."
Glenn Greenwald is in PayPals large pocket. He does what is called limited hangouts, which is the most dangerous type of propaganda there is. I used to subscribe to him until I found out where he gets the big money from.
Fuck Glenn Greenwald.
Glen Greenwald does have a very notable history in journalism. He is one of the few who today digs through the muck of Washington DC (Den of Censorship) to uncover the truth behind the fluff and the lies.
