Arrest Woes
~ In the City of the Rainbow Flag and fascist police? huh???
THIS is practically ALL that humans do. Yes, they try to impress other humans. This is, much of the time, what humans do.
Here I am again. And I sit here, very relaxed, with my reader (you). After all, I live the easy life —in Florida. I live the Florida life where it is open and warm. It is, indeed, the sunshine state. Just do what you want. IDK where the money comes from. I guess they work. But — I do not.
Naw I tramp ‘round in the streets.
I tramp ‘round in da streets of St. Pete
Bu, yeah, it’s like I said. As I said, much of the time, yeah even for myself, the goal is to impress. And I had better, if I am going to be “On the Tramp,” which is how my ‘Section’ heading reads! And i know the public is unforgiving. In general, my “performance” as a person—? Well, I am an inept one — I admit it!
But — as a tramp? Ah, here is where I come into my own. (Wait! Cannot talk bout it.)
This time around, if I visit some of the same places as a year or two ago they may turn out to be quiet. Some of these neighborhoods are disturbingly quiet. I survive — living through this. It is a situation. I am waiting for the next Trump-created EVENT.
I am awaiting trial, as well, I have pleaded “not guilty” to a charge. It is that of ‘obstructing justice’ because of refusing to show my id (but I was given an option to do just that. The police officer gave me this option of not showing the ID; and I took the option I was offered).
The officer never said I absolutely had to show my ID card; he asked if I would like to. He may have wanted to see it. How would I have known that? He asked about my tender feelings: how do I feel about voluntarily showing it? And I said I did not really want to do that, since these were not policeman whom I liked much at all — and of course if I did not have to do so I was not going to. Why should I? So, the officer actually was telling me I did not have to do it. He asked if I would like to. No, I would NOT. I would NOT like to becaue I know how ya’ll are here in St. Pete. Fuckn’ PIG-a-rinos all! I would not do it, if it was voluntary. That is all that happened. Nothing else. I did not want to show ID, because I didn’tlike the police. I was suspicious of them, and so I did not want to do anything for them. Not if I did not absolutely have to. Because I know that these were just crapola copsters. These the sort of policeman who constantly violate basic human rights. So I answered his kind, compassionate inquiry to the negative. This does not constitute a reason to arrest me.
All he had to do is ask me. I could have been persuaded to show it, but he asked me in a secific way. He was NOT ordering to show it. Asked only if I wanted to show it to them, asking in such a polite way that this gave me the option of saying No” and I also took the ocassion to complain about the police. That is the option I took. I explained the “no” and my opinions about the police in general and these guys in particular. It never went anywhere. The officer could not follow up to his own question.
He could have followed up by saying: “I’m sorry you feel that way. However, I am now ordering you to show your ID. You need to hand it over. “ Okay, that would be a different thing. I would have responded to a legtimate request to show ID. In any case, if I was legitimately required to show ID, why didn’t the police officer just say so? I cannot dispayed it it he does not ask me to. He just he needed to ask. He needed to be able to interact with persons. And I was certainly not trying to go to jail! The step of putting the handuffs on was unnecessary. The police weren’t thinking. He was playing out politeness routine as some sort of deception or strategy or ruse; he never clearly said I DID need to show it. I still do not understand why the excessively kind or soft approach was used. It seems like some kind of technique. I answered the question as if it were a legitimate, sincere question. I really had no options. I knew all along they knew were going to do something bad. And illegal. Right? So, nw i have a lawyer and we shall ee how that goes. These men wanted to do things to me, from the very start.
I was in jail three days, where the check your blood pressure twice a day, and keep telling you you are going to get a stroke! So, I know I CANNOT get a stroke while in jail. And what a big danger that was to me. The high b.p., you know. They caught it.
And I have now retained a lawyer. So now, every day, I can reflect on it. Trump is trying to turn the country into a police state. This country is also on a local level, where, in one city police are also jumping right on board with this. Let us see if we can turn this into a police state, on our own, using in particular one Jacob S. Silverman to demonstrate how truly powerful men get their police state. And real power (they hope).
Probably at some point you just gotta say, “NO. You cannot do that, because there is a Constitution. And, it does not argue for “police state.” There is nothing of the kind. So, YOU cannot do anything. Because, you did not yet eliminate the Consttution!
I pleaded NOT GUILTY and I retained a lawyer. Now if he would just call me (I have email, but in any case have not heard from him). Last night, I took refuge from the rain on the lawyer’s doorstep (where are chair was provided?). The he opened the door and said who the hell are you, sitting on my porch? Before he recognized me, he was beratingme, with words like: Who are out? Get out!
Begone with ye!! Well, why does he put out two chairs outside his front door that has a protecting overhang? He is my lawyer, so I thought it was a no-brainer.

Be careful out there.
